Default For Sale: Piko and Colorado scale Buildings (and others)

Anyone who lives in the Seattle area, specifically around Shelton or Bremerton and needs some buildings, I have a large number of buildings I am trying to get rid of.

I have staions, water towers, coaling tower, sand house, grain elebator and associated buildings, many other piko buildings. I have CSM mine building, several industrial buildings. I have farm houses, small stores.

Many are in good to excellent shape. Some need windows or trim pieces replaced.

They are all available at bargain basement prices -- I will accept almost anything for them. They are just cluttering up my garage right now. I no longer am doing Large scale.

If interested, contact me at 360-490-5637 or jbwilcox@hotmail.com.

I do not know how to post pictures, but I can email them to you if you are interested.

No reasonable or unreasonable offer will be turned down. You will probably have to come to pictt them up.

John

Two and a half days and no one interested? Am I going to have to make the drive from Western New York? Yes, I drove Route 66 back in 2009 and visited Mt. Rushmore on the way back (6321 mile trip) and gas is back to 2009 prices, but.... But it would be a tragedy to let so many buildings go to waste. Somebody please stop me before I drive again.

Yes, you would think there would be someone in the Seattle/Olympia/Tacoma/Shelton area who might at least want to take a look at what I have.

I also have about 25 Aristo Wide Radius turnouts and a bunch of track, mostly in good condition.

It doesn't hurt to take a look -- you might be surprised at what you might find.

I have a bunch of scratchbuilding materials, Grant Line windows, doors, etc.

A bunch of Kadee couplers,

Some miscellaneous things also.

My address is: 91 E Jade Drive, Shelton Wa 98584

Well John,

For one you didn't put "For Sale" in the title.

I only read your original post because I thought there was some comment/question about the scale of the Piko buildings.

And since you are a 1st Class member, why don't you post in the mls classified section?

I'm nowhere near Seattle otherwise I would definitely drop in

Is shipping an option, at least for the rolling stock?

Also, I tweaked the title to reflect that things are for sale. Is the software not letting you post new threads in the classifieds? I can move this one to there easily enough.

Later,

K

Thanks for the help.

Please move it if you can.

The rolling stock is priced at 25 per car plus shipping. Most have been moderately weathered but they are in pretty good shape. All have kadee body mounted couplers and metal wheels.

I just measured some of the buildings and they are very large. I have no idea what it would cost to ship them, that is why I would prefer someone in the local area to reply.

However, it seems like there are no large scale modelers in the Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Shelton area -- at least no one who needs some really nice buildings at a very reasonable price for their layout.

Some of the buildings will go for 5-10 dollars each.

The Aristo turnouts I think are worth at least 30 dollars each plus shipping.

I have not measured how much track I have left.

Several months ago I sent a large amount of engines and track to Silver State Trains in Nevada.

What metal is the track?
Any flat cars in the 1:22 scale?
