Default Locomotive Size comparison

Every now and again, someone requests a picture of two model locomotives for a comparison of size. Anyway, I ran across the following and thought it was interesting and others might get a kick out of it.

D&RG RR Locomotives 1871 to 1901[/b]

Actually, Kevin Strong has modeled this kind of difference, based on build dates, very well on his Tuscarora Railroad. Kevin has used locomotives and freight cars to good effect when showing how much the more recent equipment has increased in size and capacity versis counterparts purchased decades earlier.

Did you notice the heads in the cab windows? The standard gauge has plenty of headroom, while the narrow gauge the guy looks hunched over and is still filling the window. Just reminded me of the thread about fitting figures into the cab.
