I like Robbie, from RLD Hobbies and also advertises here. He has low prices and great service.

As for Ro, some will swear by him, but I know of one GG1 owner that will swear at him....

I've learned a lot from this forum, so I support the advertisers here.

You have a lucky brother, be Blessed.

I have bought a lot from Charles Ro over the years. Both in the store and phone in orders. My recommendation is to call to place the order, or if you live nearby go in. With web site orders it is hard to know if it is in stock or will be back ordered. Charles Ro is the manufacturer of USA trains. So if you ever have a problem and need a part, you already have a relationship with them. If you are looking at other manufacturers engines, in addition to Charles Ro, there are other dealers who are also very good. In addition to the dealers who are sponsors here, I can suggest Star Hobbies in Annapolis, MD and Nicholas Smith in Broomall, PA. Chuck

I have nothing but the best to say about RLD.....Other places, I would make sure they have it in stock before ordering. Just because its on their web page, doesn't mean they have it in hand....One place, i've been waiting since April for an ARMY tank car flat. And they are not answering my emails....
