Default Car Works Ditcher

Manual anyone?

I have one of these I’m needing some assistance on. For starters, does anyone have a manual on this beast to scan/email to me? Next, is there a way to better control operation rather that the three switches provided...

Thanks!
Sam

The Ditcher is really beautiful !

Tried contacting seller?

Stout Auctions,
529 State Road 28 East,
Williamsport, IN 47993
fax: 765-764-6901, tel: 765-764-6901

Best of luck.

I don't remember who but someone here on MLS built I think 2-3 Ditchers from scratch and they are simply beautiful too. He might offer some help if he's watching. I'm sure if you are attending the NSS you'll get lots of help including the fellow I referred to. Maybe a good chance he or another with one of his will bring theirs. It's really great to watch it operate.

Sam, if this is the one you are talking about, I bought mine from the guy that designed and imported them, ART Hobbies. He's from Warren New Jersey, Went to his house to exchange mine as a solder connection had come loose. He stated several of them had that issue. I do know I have the paperwork that came with, will continue to look. LiG

Nick,

That’s the one. I’ve had to do a few repairs to the structure as well. If you, or anyone else for that matter, has the manual that would be appreciated. It’s a very interesting item and I’d like to understand what it is capable of or what mods are worth doing to improve operation.

Thanks,

Sam

Sam, looked twice through all my stuff, can't seem to find it. Unusual because I save everything and put all information in loose leaf binders. I did find a modification that someone posted concerning disengaging the drive so it had the option to be added to a consist. Have me really curious to where I put it. so will look again, even found the receipt and original box. . LiG

I found this helpful and confidence building to think something as complex as this AH&D ditcher could be improved:
