Default Early Morning Steam

The early morning (0830 or so) spring light is quite nice, along with the bursting trees on the SC&M Garden Railroad, so I got out my 0-4-0 Dockside for a run with two MOW box cars into the recently rebuilt yard:

Steaming up on the mainline

and moving into the yard

Hi Jerry, you captured that magic moment of the safety blowing off in cold just perfectly a great photo, and also the steam plume from the stack on the second photo just adds to atmosphere of running live steam.

Looks great, Jerry' I don't think I have ever seen any photos of your RR before. I'm getting my Alvarado re-roofed but need to do a bunch of work on the track before I can run antthing. I'm not planning an open house until December. If the Covid19 lets up I may get the steamers out to run. Hope you and Jane are doing well. We are good here.
