Ruger, perhaps after some time of live meditation you will redesign your layout to eliminate R1 and level up the slopes to a more realistic angle - remember that trestles and bridges are a great scenic addition to any layout and the higher your railway is the easier is live steam operation! Then you may actually want to go back to the loco in the title of this thread, the Roundhouse Davenport - you cannot go wrong with Roundhouse, an R/C version will provide nothing but perfect service and joy! Hey Zubi - I have 16 R3 on the way, my first switch as well. Bridge coming (cheap plastic, not sure if I'll use it)... but, yeah I'm certainly playing around with ideas (river and lake!)...the Heisler should be a lot easier to figure out capabilities and, by proxy, spur ideas...Davenport on my list still... as is 10 other locos! Starting to think I'm the loco..
