Default Aster Safety valve replacement

Does Aster make a replacement safety valve (M10!? like on Frank S among others)? I need three of these. I emailed Jim Sanders-no response. Any help would be appreciated!

Sam;

You may want to make inquiry with Jason Kovak or Ryan Bednarik. They may know of a source for replacement safety valves.

Aster has never used M10 for safety valves. M4.5, M5.0 and M6.0 have been used (both fine and coarse pitch). Accucraft has used M10x1.0 thread on their toy-style safety valves and filler plugs for years.

The Frank S takes an M6x0.75 thread safety valve. If you aren't worried about the looks, I have quite a lot of the older Schools/JNR mogul safeties that are a direct thread into the Frank S boiler and function much better than the original toy safety.

Perhaps you meant the Filler plug on the Frank S? That is M10x1.0.

Dave,

I had checked with Jason first-no luck there.

Ryan-thanks for providing the correct size. If you have three, then I’d be interested in acquiring them. You have my email so let me know the price when possible.

Thanks,
Sam

Jim has been having trouble with his email. You might want to try contacting him by other means.
