Default Anyone had issues with LGBs sound cars?

I purchased this brand new LGB sound car.

And is sound like this:

Supposed to sound like this

I can't find if I'm doing something wrong or it's defected.

Anyone have any luck with these?

Mine sound just like yours. I now use digital sound boards and get great sound.
Note the Christmas sound cars are much better than that old 2 axle car.

TY,
The first video is a diesel sound, although poor quality in my opinion. The second video is the steam sound, which is an OK sound system if you want only chuff (I have used these systems in several locos for many years without any problems). You may have gotten a diesel system.

As Ted posted.
If you want the first type of car with steam sound you need to get the LGB 41352 car ( or LGB 4135S which was the LGB product code until 1992)

The first video says it is a diesel sound car video. Maybe you bought the wrong model.
