Default On30 Pizza Pondering

Hmmm, well I found a lone piece of On30 flex and knocked this out on a 12" ply circle, now I dont quite know what to do with it? I had thought I have an On30 Bmann Davenport that needs something to run on, but then something Gn15 might be a bit of fun too.

Say, while your scratching your head, can you come up with a ''smaller'' Pizza!! I mean let's push the limits here, and really start having FUN with Trains.

It's OK to be crazy, the way I SEE it!!!

Looks cool!! Dream on....

Dirk - Thanks for feeding ideas to the rest of US!!

Vic, I vote for Gn15, say something like a mining company rig. That way, you could develop another level on top of your multilevel pizza pie, and show glimpses of the mine shaft going down through the levels. Just a thought..

Vic, definitely go for the Gn15 approach. Why change scale? With Gn15 you can use all the detail stuff you already have, it goes with the stuff you've already done, and let's face it, it's silly and cute. As it looks like it won't be till late in the year before I can start me outdoor RR, I've started a Gn15 pizza layout of my own for the Snowflake Pizza Competition over at the Gnatterbox;

Gn15; it's large scale fun in a tiny space.

Hi Chris, that looks terrific, cant wait to see it finished.

I'm still leaning to On30 since that I can cram so much more stuff onto the pizza than I ever could in Gn15, also Gn15 almost everything needs to be scratchbuilt where in On30 I can use alot of RTR stuff. Still havent decided yet but I like that "up in the air" aspect of that "Snowflake" layout.

Vic, I'm sure whatever you turn your hand to will be a barrel of fun and a joy to see. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Just keep in mind that not all On30 rolling stock will handle that radius. I suspect the Davenport has no problems!
Gary, yes, it's been a grueling past year or two, but things seem to be letting up and I'm just about past a couple of health issues that have been keeping me from the fun. Can't wait to get into my new back yard and start destroying it!

Quick video of the consist for the pizza,as it is I could leave it as is, if I can find a good Gn15 conversion kit for the Davenport, I might swing that way, the tippers are pretty close to 1 cu yard tippers in Gn15. Too many options right now.

Its gonna be Gn15. got a couple small structures to mess with and started cutting up a Model Power Hustler into a Gn15 critter, of course I could just buy another piece of On30 flex - that's the beauty of Micro's.
