I had not a clue that this cubby existed but was not surprised that you were here with two (2) thingy-things. Tesla (my boyhood idol; I think he was big time Autistic an I'm only borderline Aspergers) was one of your interests but I dun no your thoughts?
Da oder one, the ceramic tiles, is bogus as none of them will work in our 'scale' unles they would be running on an elevated track, running up side down [a bat train like thingie] whilst burning a gaseous fuel like pro..............ane ad nausea termnasata!! Wan-to no more? 916-447-5433!
Are the ultra thin copper washers (takes 3-4 copper = 1 fiber washer) really crush type?
When Accucraft switched from fiber to copper a good number of calls for replacement bolts having over tightening breaking off the bolt head.
Whether fiber, (rubber(?)) or real crush type or any with sealant they're meant to compensate for minor surface variances for a complete tight seal. The copper washers I've handled are too thin to be crushable; why a sealant would be required lest it be overtightened. I've a personal aversion to gum-up a joint with sealant and an oil soaked fiber washer works. Maybe if I could get a sealant in a different color than white?
I've not bought a loco that has copper washers so no hands on experience on impressions. That may be about to change as I have an Accucraft Bagnal coming. About, meaning if Accucraft UK uses copper or still fiber.
